The Company’s latest attempt is the ASUS ZenPad S 8.0 is a budget tab with a bundle of good features. 2 GB of RAM with 2k resolution in 8 inch display and operated by the running Android version 5.1 Lollipop comes to you in the US $211. All in all, the device is a great budget device for all the gadget freaks.

The best part of the ZenPad S is the build quality of the device. The design and the 6.6mm thin body with curved edges make the device look sexier. The front panel is glossy and the back is designed with metal finish. The edges are the diamond cut shape. The only thing on the device is the volume button which gives you a tactical feedback. Overall the device is great in looks and design and also the price is good enough. The device has a great attraction which is the 2k resolution in an 8-inch display. The videos are not only sharp but also vivid. The colors are quite good too. ASUS has built some good display technologies too. One is the Intelligent Contrast and the other one is the Tru2Life. There is a fancy marketing term for a display which gives great color and more natural looking animations.

The device runs with the Atom 1.8GHz quad-core processor with 2 gigabytes of RAM. There is another model of this device which runs by 4GB of RAM. There is a storage capacity of 32 GB and you can expand the storage by using the MicroSD card. The device is pretty cool and has the ZenUskin on top. It has 8MP rear and 5MP front facing the camera.

Overall, this is a decent device with all the good config, but only one this is the real downside of the device which is the responsiveness and the speed of the software. The tab runs the NFS with no issue, but the scrolling on the web pages and the launching apps causes issues of speed and lag. It will be too early if we judge the device on this issue, so we are going to keep an eye on the device to check if there are more issues or just this one.

This is not a heavy tablet and when you remove the plastic back cover it doesn’t inspire at all. The device comes with pinkish-gold back cover and ASUS logo. It might not be a revolutionary device, but the audio case on it looks compact. However, the screen goes dirty quickly but it looks quite good when it’s clean. But yeah, you must need a screen protector for that.

So far, the device is good and handy with the budget of $200 which is low for a device like this. With the voice calling feature and the device is good enough to make voice calls and watch movies and this will not be expensive. So, if you are looking for that then you should buy the device, it’s worth it.
